MotoGP : 5 Riders to watch out for in 2018 season

Valentino Rossi

This year marks 18th successive year for valentino rossi to feature in the premier class of Motorcycle Grand Prix, The longest ever..
It is almost impossible to imagine motogp without valentino rossi.
It has been 9 years since rossi won any championship, the last time he won in 2009 with yamaha, he has been close to his 10th title on 3 ocassions, 2014,2015,2016, where he finished 2nd in overall championship for the respective years..
Last year proved to be disaster for him as he finished 5th his worst since 2012 with ducati...

Yamaha boss Lin Jarvis hinted last month that - Rossi may quit Yamaha

The yamaha have not been so compitative last year, having faced rear tire problems especially in wet conditions, and rossi was quite unhappy with the chasis..
Rossi's contract with yamaha expires after the end of 2018 season, and is yet to decide on his future plans, where he said he can talk on this only after several races into the season..
he indicated his desire to stay with yamaha if the bike is compitative enough. the pre-season test is so far not impressive, & rossi expressed yamha is missing something with the electronics and had to find out soon.
The QatarTest will begins in 2 days n we hope everything goes fine..

2. Johan Zarco

He is defenately one to watchout in 2018 season .. the Frenchman has impressed us last season, probably the most impressive rookie season we witnessed in recent years.

Expecting the 27-yr old frenchman will take multiple races nail biting this season having seen many last year.

3. Jack Miller

Miller proved his mettle multiple times in atrocious weather conditions during his 2016 and 2017 campaigns and the attributes of the Ducati – white-hot straight line speed and a bike that doesn’t balk at being roughed into corners – suits his attacking instincts.

The 2018 season will see Miller on the bike with his new teammate Danilo Petrucci who took podium four times last season, and we are eagerly waiting for the heavens to open and watch Miller go, go, go.

4. Andrea Dovizioso

Andrea Dovizioso’s emergence as a genuine title threat was one of the biggest surprises of the 2017 MotoGP storyline owing to the fact that even though he is one of the best last-breakers in the business, he had won only two 2 premier-class races in previous 9 seasons.

However, 6 victories and a battle with Márquez rewrote his biography and we are expecting him to remain the Ducati top dog for the 2018 season as well.

5. Marc Márquez

So far, for the 2018 season we are expecting Rossi to be occasionally brilliant, Dovizioso to head Ducati’s charge, and Zarco to ruffle more than a few feathers, but is it possible that any of these racers could overthrow Marc Márquez as MotoGP champion?

It’s difficult to imagine anyone slowing down Márquez’s quest for 5 MotoGP crowns in his first 6 premier-class seasons, as the Spaniard has illustrated his ability to win in every which way. We are watching with eager and bated breath.
