Yamaha Boss Lin Jarvis doesn't want to enter into contract extension talks with Valentino Rossi until several races into next season.
Rossi is signed to Yamaha until the last race of next season.
The current contract has been extended, before the first race of the season in 2016 qatar.
Jarvis doesn't anticipate such an an early talks of negotiation with Valentino Rossi any time around soon.
Talking to reporters : whether talks with Rossi over a new deal for 2019 had started, Jarvies replied, "No, because we have a two-year contract".
Last year we did it(renewing contract) in Qatar, which was at the beginning of the season before, as such.
he further added "I don't think it would be as early as Qatar", but will be around Mugello (Italy ) time.
Rossi managed to finish 5th in AragonGP after coming back from surgery following motocross accident in Italy & has to miss the SanMarino GP.
